Building Foundations is dedicated to helping young people identify and realise their full potential and plan for a successful future.
Through working with local authorities and other agencies we can support clients in finding suitable accommodation when they feel ready to move on.
We provide pregnant teenagers, young parents and their babies with the support they need to find and maintain their own home.
We provide accommodation to vulnerable people, usually those with previous or current substance misuse issues.
No Recourse to Public Funds support - Families and individuals may have a right to financial support (accommodation and subsistence) from social services to avoid destitution or because of complex health needs.
Building Foundations support includes:
Provide assistance with practical skills, i.e. cooking, cleaning, shopping and budgeting money. Working in partnership with other relevant agencies in order to improve support provided for our residents.
Enhancing career opportunities and life chances. Promoting our resident's health and wellbeing. Assisting the young person in establishing support and social networks within their community.
Supporting the young person's identified vocation. Plan for young people and accommodation by the local authorities.
Building Foundations works alongside young adult, aged from 18-25+.
Providing guidance and assistance for young adults throughout the transition of leaving care onto independent living.
We have a team of staff committed to providing high standard of care for young service users.
